Eat right the right way

It doesn’t suffice to just eat healthy. One has to adapt the right way to eat right in order to remain in good shape. Rajeev Nirnayak tells you about his divine food therapy

A normal daily food intake of an adult would be around 4 to 5 meals because of which it is important to understand the value and significance of every bite taken in. Research has proven that wrong mannerisms and ways of eating leads to various chronic diseases. Stress builds up in the body when proper amount of nutrition is not provided. High blood pressure, insomnia, obesity, diabetes, heart diseases, etc are examples of diseases that have started inculcating among the youth. All these issues and diseases can be easily varied off by just giving that little focus and devotion to each meal time.

Divine Food Therapy (DFT) is the cure for today’s improper life and helps people of all age groups, from all walks of life to lead a peaceful and a healthier living. In order to live well, at times we do tend to shift to better eating and switch to healthier food options but is that enoughIJ Divine Food Therapy proves this to be a half won battle, as eating right food is not the only essential way to healthy living. Proper ways, traits, accurate mannerisms and being aware (mentally and physically) of the food intake is what it takes to win the other half of the battle. The combination of ‘eating right’ and ‘eating the right way’ will provide a healthy peaceful living.

Divine Food, here, doesn’t apply to any particular food but the way a meal is eaten, makes it ‘divine’ food. Eating with a positive approach and by chewing the entire food properly makes the mind more stable and leads to a healthier lifestyle. Adapting ways of eating food and drinking liquid the right way slows down the thought process and helps the mind to focus on the nutrition served. This does not need to be practiced under anybody or at a certain place, rather it can be practiced anywhere be it at a meal at home, meal in office or in a  cafeteria.

The apt process should be of chewing a bite till the time the food is completely crushed and is mixed with the saliva. The importance of meals and the correct ways of eating, chewing and salivating helps a person to achieve his goals in life.

To follow this therapy one does not necessarily need to follow any particular meal timing but eating meals at correct hours would be an add on to a healthier living. Breakfast, being the most important meal, should be eaten within one hour of waking up, 9 am would be the ideal time. A small snack should be consumed at around 11:30 am ( one can have fruits or nuts at this time)

lunch should be around 2 pm. A two hour gap between all the big and small meals will be apt and keeps the metabolism functioning. Another small meal can be consumed around 4:30 pm and the final meal of dinner at 7 or 7:30 pm.

If these timings are delayed then one is likely to keep feeling hungry. The hungrier you are, it will lead to an increase in the tendency of cheating your healthy system and eating junk food.

The concept of infusing a mannered diet with the intention to bring divinity all around is accomplished through this therapy. The importance of meals and the correct ways of eating, chewing and salivating help a person to achieve his goals in life. When followed correctly, DFT is quite beneficial and leads to a healthy inner living. It is a reminder about the signification of food intake and meals; the significance is what we usually tend to ignore in our occupied lives.
