The Delhi University (DU) on Saturday has decided to reschedule their open day counselling sessions for admission aspirants and postpone them till June 1. Earlier, the sessions were supposed to end by May 30. The decision has been taken following the pending results of many students.
“Once the results will be out, aspirants will be clearer about the course to pursue,” said, Deputy Dean Student Welfare Gurpreet Singh Tuteja. Over 1,200 students flocked the North Campus seeking clarity for their doubts. Some had dilemmas regarding best-four subjects’ calculation policy while others wanted to know if Mathematics is required in Class XII to pursue Economics. Tuteja clearing one of the doubts said, “Mathematics will be useful for courses like science, economics and computer science.” Tuteja remarked that many aspirants are still confused about the course to pursue. The counseling had completed its three sessions.
