A drunken brawl between two juveniles escalated into a communal tension when elders from two communities joined in at the Fatehpur Beri area of South Delhi on Friday night.
According to a senior police official, the juveniles after drinking had an argument which led to one abusing the other.
“The two juveniles were drinking alcohol and suddenly started an argument. The matter was under control till one of them abused the other on a sensitive issue. While the latter party went and complained to his family mem-ber, the other called his friend and asked him to gather people,” said the police official.
