As the electioneering is entering into the last and most crucial phase in Jammu & Kashmir, top brass of the BJP including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Saturday went on the offensive targeting Congress party and also exposed its tendency to 'infiltrate' into every Government formed in the State.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is leading the campaign on behalf of the BJP addressed twin election rallies in Kathua and Rajouri districts amid electrifying atmosphere. The turnout in both the meetings impressed Modi as he could see the winds of change sweeping across the State.Hard selling his party's 'agenda of development' in the State, the Prime Minister cautioned voters to remain vigilant and “not to fall prey to old tactics of the Congress” as it manages to 'infiltrate' into every Government formed in the State through backdoor entry.

The Prime Minister also appealed to the voters to punish three 'offenders' (read political parties Congress, National Conference and Peoples Democratic Party) who were responsible for their plight and lack of development in the State."If you punish them once, they will realise their mistakes. Has the BJP ever formed the Government in Jammu & KashmirIJ Did we ever commit any mistakeIJ Don't you know who are the first, second and third offenders," he asked the voters.

Modi said these political parties would not mend their ways unless they were punished by the voters. "Congress is part of the every Government formed in the State and gets away with all the benefits. But before elections Congress back stabs their allies and start their propaganda claiming they are against this Government and that the Government has done all wrong," Modi said exposing the game plan of the Congress.Attacking the National Conference and PDP for "dynastic politics and nepotism", the Prime Minister asked the people: "Are there no more sons and daughters in J&KIJ Will only one father-son and father-daughter run the Governments hereIJ Do you have to always remain in their tangleIJ"

"Don't look at those father-son, father-daughter duos. look at your own sons and daughters and elect a stable BJP Government".Modi said, "The destiny of Jammu & Kashmir will only change through development. J&K needs schools, roads, water, power and health services. For this we need your support".Meanwhile, Arun Jaitley while addressing a gathering of party cadre in Jammu predicted the Congress party would be restricted to single digit party after the Assembly polls.Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh addressed three election meetings in border belt and Nagrota Assembly constituency. At all the places, he promised refugees living in the State to address their concerns and give them all the rights which any citizen of a country should have to lead a normal life.
