The AAP Government made it amply clear to overhaul of the entire system of governance. That includes reaching out to people who have grievances and oversee work of all Ministers and MlAs. Addressing a Press conference, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia dismissing the contention that Aam Aadmi Party chief intends to focus on expanding the party base in other States by not taking any portfolios, said Kejriwal has already made it clear that “for five years, his entire focus will be on Delhi.”
“The Chief Minister (Kejriwal) will use modern technology and tools of good governance to bring in systemic changes wherever required. Also, he (Kejriwal) will directly reach out to the people and address their grievances,” Sisodia said.
“He will oversee the work of all the Ministers and MlAs. He will focus on implementing the 70-point agenda for providing better service to the people apart from curbing corruption, controlling price rise and providing uninterrupted power and water,” he said.
Asked whether Kejriwal will try to build the party outside Delhi, Sisodia said, “He (Kejriwal) has already clarified while taking oath that for five years his entire focus will be on Delhi. As a Chief Minister he will seek to bridge the gap between the executing agencies and masses for whom the programmes are intended.”
Sisodia said that the Government’s top priority will be to serve the people in the best possible manner. The Government will focus on implementing AAP’s 70-point manifesto, which the party had promised to the people before the Delhi Assembly polls, he said.
