The body of the deceased, identified as Sandeep Kumar, was found with several stab wounds from inside a car near a park, said officials, adding that a passerby spotted the car when he went there for the morning walk. Police suspect personal enmity behind the murder. A case has been registered at Bawana Police Station and probe has begun to get to the depth of the story.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer) Vikramjeet Singh told The Pioneer that Sandeep’s body was found in the morning by a passerby. “Prima facie it appears the case of personal enmity. We are investigating the case from all angles,” said Singh.

A team from the local police station reached the spot and his body was sent for the post-mortem. He was posted with the Supreme Court security but was absent from the duty for the past few days.

Police said during investigations, it was learnt that Sandeep was the resident of Kanjhawala area. “He lived with his mother in Kanjhawala as his wife had left him a few years ago,” said a senior police officer.
