The Congress will hold a special briefing of its spokespersons on Monday on the land Acquisition Bill so that the party could reap electoral benefit of the legislation aimed to provide better compensation to land owners.
Rural Development Minister Jairam Ramesh will inform 36 Congress spokespersons and leaders going for panel discussion on TV channels about the technical aspects and benefits to the legislation so that they could effectively convey it to people through media briefings.
Earlier, the Congress had adopted similar tactics for Food Security Bill. The party feels that these two legislations will prove a gamechanger for the party in the 2014 lok Sabha polls.
