Condemning AAP leader Ashutosh’s remark against Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Ministers Pt Jawaharlal Nehru and Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Delhi Congress president Ajay Maken announced that the party will observe a one-hour “maun vrat” on Monday from 9 am to 10 am at the Samadhi of Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat. He said the “maun vrat” was to pray to give “sadh buddhi” to Arvind Kejriwal and Ashutosh.

“The people of Delhi let down by Kejriwal due to his confrontation with Centre and lieutenant Governor. The ruling party in Delhi is now falling in its own trap. AAP leader Ashutosh compared Sandeep Kumar with Gandhiji, Nehruji and Vajpayeeji, it is unfortunate,” said Maken adding that Kejriwal is not an angel sent by God.

The party has also decided to gherao Delhi Assembly on September 9, during the one-day session to protest against the all-round failure of the AAP Government in its one-and-a-half-year rule.
