A 42-year old employee of Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) was found dead inside a park in Central Delhi’s Kamla Market area. The deceased has been identified as Chandar Bhan.
“A call was made by a passerby at around 5:45 am and information was given that a body was lying inside Shastri Park. A case of murder has been registered at Kamla Market Police station and we are investigating the matter," said a police official of the Central district. On being informed, the victim's family rushed to the spot and identified the body. There were no major injury marks on the body, but his eyes were swollen. Chandar Bhan was a fourth Class employee of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD).
Bhan lived near Kali Masjid area. He is survived by his wife and five children. The motive behind the murder has not been ascertained. Police is scanning his call details and talking to his family members and colleagues to ascertain whether he was having some dispute with someone.
