BSP supremo doesn't rule out UPA pact

Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati reiterated on Saturday that her party would neither support the BJP-led NDA Government at the Centre nor will take its support if the BSP gets an opportunity to form the Government at the Centre.

But the BSP leader did not rule out UPA support if she comes closer to forming the Government. She refused to elaborate and said: “let’s keep some things for the future.” Addressing a Press conference just before the end of the campaigning for the last phase of elections on Saturday  Mayawati made it clear that even if BJP or NDA wants to support her as PM she will not accept the offer. “Either ways I will have no relation with the BJP or Modi at any cost after the elections,” she said.

She further said neither the NDA nor UPA would be able to form the Government on its own and in such a situation if BSP comes closer to striking distance it will not hesitate to take Congress support to form a secular Government. Hitting out at BJP PM candidate, she alleged that Modi was telling lie over his caste and even blamed him of telling lies on the name of holy Ganga.

Mayawati said it would be better for BJP if he remains silent. “It would be in the interest of the party and country because whatever Modi says lacks facts besides his remarks fuel divisive sentiments,” she said.
