Giving credence to assertions that the CBI is manipulated by Congress, agency has not mentioned Bofors probe and 1984 anti-Sikh riots case in a list of 10 prominent cases probed by it.
A handbook released by CBI to commemorate its golden jubilee celebrations, it has listed cases like Haryana teachers recruitment scam but did not mention Bofors scam that was allegedly scripted during Rajiv Gandhi tenure as PM. CBI had spent about Rs 250 crore for the decade-long investigation into the scam.
