Mocking Congress Government in Delhi, BJP’s star campaigner and actor-turned-politician Shatrughan Sinha on Saturday sought people of Delhi to form credible Government in the Capital. He said only the BJP can provide a policy aimed at the welfare of the working class and the poorer sections. “This Government has a record of shameful corruption. It’s time people realised what they want and voted for a Government which will work for them and understand the needs of the common man. As we have seen in the past, this was possible under the BJP Government,” the senior BJP leader.
Sinha was addressing the residents of Kalkaji on Saturday. The area is part of Greater Kailash constituency from where Ajay Kumar Malhotra is contesting on BJP’s ticket. “A credible national Government is the need of the hour at a crucial juncture. We must support and vote for BJP in all the States to ensure Narendra (Modi) bhai comes to power and that will send a strong message to the world helping India regain its lost glory,” he added.
On the occasion, Malhotra said, “For the welfare of common man, BJP is the only option. As we have seen in the past, this was possible under BJP governance. The present Government does not connect with the people and has lost the right to be in power,” he said.
