Astroturf : Make thought process easy, simple

Astroturf : Make thought process easy, simple
Published on:

The thought process needs to be watched. For, it reflects upon an individual’s character, and thereby one’s destiny. If someone’s thought process remains simple, the coordinates of mind work in an orderly fashion as mandated by nature. Buddhi, ahamkara, and manasa, the three operative tools of mind work in a coordinated fashion as one integrated whole. Buddhi — the faculty of discriminate intelligence — remains in active mode and in lead of the other coordinates. Going by its true nature, buddhi helps dispassionately judge things in the right perspective, pick up the right lead, and make most appropriate choices. Evidently then, life moves with a relative ease and comfort.

The irony, however, is that invariably all of us are born with a complex mind, coming as it may as a carryover effect of mixed baggage of good and bad seed-thoughts picked up in the past. These impressions precondition our mind one way or the other, and which holds the key to a being’s habit tendencies. Caught up in this bind, ahamkara, identifying itself with inherent tendencies, doesn’t allow buddhi its due.  Ostensibly then, for want of due diligence, one becomes vulnerable to come under the grip of one’s inherent fault-lines, and evidently to one’s detriment.

A couple of months back someone in mid-40s, worried about his career and marital prospects, came seeking guidance. He was warned that he had to get over complexities and inconsistencies of his mind and set his thought process easy and simple without loss of time. Otherwise, his clouded vision will let him view things in the right perspective as before, and therefore, could make wrong choices. In a year’s time, his career may go for a toss because of his own self-undoing acts. He may soon come across a girl also, but should not blindly run after her. Otherwise, he may have to meet emotional crisis, difficult for an oversensitive person like him to withstand. He was given a lesson in mind-detoxification, which would have helped him come out of his mental limitations. But he did not care.

Exactly as predicted, he came across a girl much younger than him in January. She had been nice to him all these months. He mistakenly thought that the girl was signalling to get close.  He got infatuated with her and began nursing the desire to possess her.  Meanwhile, the girl found a guy and has been going around with him. That infuriated this man, who has virtually gone wild. He seems to have lost his mental balance, and has been conducting unmindfully. He began making plans to manipulate the girl, so that she comes back to his fold.

Somehow good sense prevailed and he came seeking guidance. He came out with a simple question: “When shall the girl come back to my foldIJ” Reminding him of my earlier advisory not to run after the first girl in sight, I countered asked, “When was she there in your personal life that you expect a comebackIJ” It was your illusionary dream perception. Just that she was sweet to you because you happened to be her coach, would not mean that she fancied you. Come out of this mindset of yours before it is too late, otherwise you may be in serious trouble sooner than later, as your astrological pointers mean. And that may have adverse bearing on your career status also. You can’t earn anybody’s love through manipulation.

let us now have a look at the man’s astrological pointers. The lagna lord Venus posited in the 6th house, is conjunct debilitated Venus and Jupiter, all placed adverse to Moon. It speaks of an oversensitive and a self-indulgent person, having volatile emotionality, and subject to unpredictable mood-swings.  Moon, ill-disposed off to Mars, which is sandwiched between mischievous Neptune and headless Ketu, makes him temperamental, irritable, and argumentative. He may unnecessarily misdirect his energies towards undesirable ends, and invite his own problems.

Jupiter forming unholy alliance with Mars points to his inflated ego. It makes him stuck to his self-assumed beliefs and perceptions. Also, has a closed mind, which makes it difficult for him to digest anything happening contrary to his expectations. Mercury is ill-disposed off to Neptune, which accounts for his impaired reasoning and judgment and a suspicious mind. That also makes him vulnerable to become a victim of his own self-delusions. And the result is there to see. He is having sleepless nights. He has lost sense of direction.  In fact, his thought process seems to have become incoherent.
