Paswan, who has been elected from the Mohania constituency, had a long meeting with Modi. However, it was not known that what was discussed between the two. The former Building and Construction Minister in Bihar Government had defeated present lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar twice in the past from Sasaram lok Sabha constituency.

An avid athlete in his college days, 57-year-old Paswan is also known as popular Dalit leader having sway in certain pockets of Bihar. According to sources, he discussed about Modi’s upcoming rally in Patna to be organised on October 27.
