Parveen Nalli was a resident of Shadnagar in Mahabubnagar district, 50 kms away from Hyderabad. Parveen’s brother Naveen told the police that when he had spoken to him two days back Parveen was unwell.
Parveen’s father is an employee in the BSNl.
The campus was yet to recover from the shock of Rohit Vemula’s suicide in protest against the caste discrimination and harassment by the university authorities. The students were continuing their agitation demanding action against the Vice Chancellor Appa Rao Podile holding him responsible for Rohith’s suicide.
