While Dr Pankaj Narang’s family and relatives were busy in his final rites, people affiliated to a number of pressure groups thronged his bungalow on Saturday, demanding appropriate action against the culprits.
“What is happening in the Capital is nothing less than a ‘Jungle Raaj’ and I condemn the role of our CM Arvind Kejriwal into the matter,” said BJP councillor from Rohini and founder member, NGO Sampurna- Shobha Vijendra Gupta.
“Many such incidents relating to zero tolerance have had happened in the national Capital…There seems to be no end to these incidents and our CM is incompetent to address this grieving family,” added Gupta while stating, “These clusters are his vote bank and how can he miss on them…That is why he is silent on this issue.”
Meanwhile, Delhi Shiv Sena leader Neeraj Sethi said, “I don’t want to politicise the tragic incident but the communalism strings attached to the brutal murder of Narang also can’t be avoided.”
“We can’t appreciate any violence from people belonging to different religious groups in our society,” added Sethi.
On the same grounds, Hindu Sena chief Vishnu Gupta said, “The incident took place despite the tolerance shown by us towards the illegal encroachment of our areas by these ‘Bangladeshis’ who have been backed by our Ministers for their political advances.” “Why Dadri lynching caught so much of attention and this incident is being suppressedIJ” questioned Gupta.
Gupta also said that he sees the event first as the murder of his Hindu brother and then a murder of a doctor.
