Here’s a party that promises to go on for the entire night, offering some of the best music from across the globe. It made its debut at the world’s largest club, Privilege Ibiza three years back and caught popular imagination, giving rise to the concept ‘Don’t let Daddy Know’ (DlDK). After having performed in  Amsterdam, Antwerp, Manchester, Chile, Belgium, England, The Netherlands, Hong Kong and Istanbul, the party now comes to India. WhereIJ The organisers want to keep that under wraps for now.

“The DlDK India will feature five of the biggest global names in electronic music who will curate seven hours of non-stop mayhem catering to diverse genres of electronic dance music, including trap, dubstep, drum ’n bass, hardstyle, house, tech house, deep house, electro, psy-trance and electronica. The massive event will be hosted by an international bigwig while the opening acts will feature Gen X homegrown artists,” Shubhra Bharadwaj, founder and creative director, Ferrishwheel Entertainment & Partner, DlDK India, says.

She tells you that the concept is well-known for its larger than life production  and top of the line acts. The India chapter, which is going to be a yearly affair from this year, isn’t going to be any different. “We want people to be wowed because that is what the event is all about. There are many who have been part of the event earlier. We need to ensure that in India, it’s bigger and better and fans get on a roller coaster ride through an intense way of clubbing. We want to take the people to a higher atmosphere of a marvelous & unusual style of entertainment,” Bharadwaj tells you.

The reason why the founders have chosen India as the next destination is because it is one of the top 10 countries that is zealous about dance music. “India is a big upcoming market with a lot of dance followers. For us the right time to expand to this part of the world in tie-up with Ferriswheel Entertainment,” Essam Founders, DlDK, says adding that the concept takes you on a roller-coaster ride through an intense way of clubbing.

“You’ll experience more than you can ever imagine. Fulfilling every individual desire by creating an exceptional reminisces of music. The event strives to attract top of the line fashionable people who go for more than just the average. We take you to a higher atmosphere of a marvelous and unusual style of entertainment, they explain.

The aim is to unite dance music fans across Asia with this annual property and give them a unique experience. “This is the debut showcase of a concept that is very well acknowledged globally and if all goes well we’ll explore possibilities of making this concept travel to different cities that are responding well to the culture of dance music in recent times,” Bharadwaj says. So, let’s party all night but don’t let daddy know.
