A 74-year-old woman was on Saturday found “strangled” to death in outer Delhi's Rohini sector 13 area, which police suspect was fallout of a robbery attempt.
The incident took place around 5.30 pm in the absence of the lady’s husband and son, with whom she used to stay. The deceased has been identified as Kailashwati Jain.
“She was alone at home on the seventh storey of the Vallabh Apartments. The husband found her lying in a pool of blood when he returned around 6 pm. She was declared brought dead on being rushed to a nearby hospital,” police said.
