A23-year-old student of Amity University, Noida was shot dead by his friend over personal dispute at World Blue Society in Sector-100 on Saturday evening.
Police said the deceased has been identified as Sandesh Bhaskar (23), a native of Andhra Pradesh. He was a student of Marine Science in at Amity, Noida and lived along with two friends Nadeem and Madhur in World Blue Society in Sector-100, Noida.
According to the police, the incident took place around 3.30 pm when Sandesh was inside his flat with Nadeem. “Two youths, including Aman, who was identified as Sandesh’s friend, and an unknown person reached the victim’s flat and ringed the door bell. As Sandesh opened the door, Aman and his friend started beating him up, shot him and fleed the spot,” said cops.
Acting on a tip-off, police reached on the spot and rushed him to a nearby hospital where doctor declared him brought dead. Police have sent the body for post-mortem and informed the deceased’s family members living in Andhra Pradesh. Police have started the investigation and registered an FIR against Aman under Section of 302 IPC in Sector-39 Police Station.
