Nadda reviews progress work of AIIMS
JP Nadda Health and Family welfare Minister GOI along with other officials visited and reviewed the construction works of upcoming AIIMS Mangalagiri at Guntur District of AP. Gyanesh Pandey CMD HSCC along with MoH&FW and AIIMS officials also accompanied and explained him about the project.
NHPC holds ‘Apna Ped Mahotsav’ drive
NHPC limited, India’s premier hydropower company organised ‘Apna Ped Mahotsav’ plantation drive at NHPC Residential Colony, Faridabad on 14th July 2018 with an objective to make the colony a green colony. Shri Balraj Joshi, Chairman & Managing Director, NHPC along with his wife Anu Joshi inaugurated the programme by planting saplings. NK Jain, Director (Personnel) with his wife Sharmila Jain, Janardan Choudhary, Director (Technical) with his wife Prabha Choudhary, senior officers of NHPC, employees and their families also participated in this initiative. Speaking on this occasion Joshi appreciated the efforts of the employees and their families in making the NHPC Residential Colony green and also appealed them to be sensitive to nature. Joshi also handed of Certificates of Appreciation to all the participants of the programme. Over 100 saplings of plants and fruits as custard apple, mango, amala, neem etc. were planted by participants during the day in this initiative.
CMD, NHPC conferred CIDC Trophy
Balraj Joshi, Chairman & Managing Director, NHPC limited, India’s premier hydropower company and a ‘Mini Ratna’ Category-I Enterprise of the Government of India has been conferred the ‘Spirit of Construction’ trophy and certificate by Construction Industry Development Council (CIDC). Joshi has been given this prestigious award for his exemplary work and for inspiring his team under extraneous conditions for completion of ‘330 MW Kishenganga Hydroelectric Project’ in Bandipora District of Jammu and Kashmir. The award was received by Shri Ratish Kumar, Director (Projects), NHPC on behalf of Shri Balraj Joshi, CMD, NHPC from Dr PR Swarup, Director General, CIDC and Member Secretary, ECI (Engineering Council of India) at a glittering ceremony held at Civil Service Officer’s Institute, New Delhi on 13th July 2018.
Tata Power-DDl Organises Event
In a bid to support women empowerment, Tata Power Delhi Distribution (Tata Power-DDl) on Saturday organised Annual Rewards and Recognition and Cultural Event for ABHA Members. ABHAs are representatives of company’s self-help group initiative and are engaged in reaching out to the residents of JJ clusters in order to maximize the visibility and benefits of social innovation initiatives being run by the company. The event was graced by Dr. Vishal Jain, Associate Professor, Bharatiya Vidyapeeth and Mr. Sanjay Banga, CEO, Tata Power-DDl and was attended by more than 840 members from 218 JJ falling in Tata Power-DDl’s area of distribution.
PM dedicates Varanasi CGD project to Nation
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday dedicated to the Nation the Varanasi City Gas Distribution (CGD) network which will supply environment friendly natural gas to households, transport sector and industries in the city through the ‘Pradhan Mantri Urja Ganga’. The project was dedicated in a function here in the presence of Governor of Uttar Pradesh Shri Ram Naik, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Shri Yogi Adityanath and a host of other dignitaries.
