Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is getting into the Marvel movie spirit by jokingly offering flights to Wakanda — the fictional country from Black Panther. The airport tweeted out a digitally altered image of gate T3 showing its destination as Wakanda, the kingdom ruled by King T’Challa, aka the Black Panther, in the eponymous super hero film.” The bags are packed #WakandaForever,” the airport tweeted. The tweet drew the attention of star lupita Nyong’o, who jumped on the joke with her own string of puns based on character names from the film. “Apart from la Femme Nakia, what else is on the in-flight entertainmentIJ T’Challa’s Angels, M’Baku To The Future, Shuri’s Gotta Have It, Killmonger Bill, W’Kabi In The Woods...IJ” she wrote.

Noise from engine turns out to be a king cobra
A man who heard a strange sound coming from the engine of his car in Thailand took a look under the hood and came face to face with a king cobra. Thaichai Kongnimit, 55, said his Nissan was parked outside of his Surat Thani province home overnight Wednesday and he heard the noise Thursday when he was preparing to drive to the store.
Thaichai said he popped open the hood and quickly slammed it shut again when he came face to face with a 15-foot king cobra. “The cobra could have killed me. I opened the bonnet to look down into the engine and I was about [12 inches] from its face,” he said.
Thaichai called local authorities, who summed snake catcher Tanawat Num to the scene. Tanawat said the capture went smoothly and the snake will be safely released back into the wild. “It is rare that we see a king cobra this big,” he said.

Thirsty goalkeeper gifts opponents equaliser
A thirsty goalkeeper chose the wrong time to have a drink during a second-tier soccer game in Germany on Saturday. Duisburg’s Dutch goalkeeper Mark Flekken had picked up a bottle behind his own goal-line and was not even watching the game against Ingolstadt when the inevitable happened in the 18th minute.
After hosts Duisburg had seen a goal harshly disallowed, Ingolstadt quickly moved the ball up the field. Duisburg defender Gerrit Nauber headed back to his goalkeeper, not realising that Flekken was still behind the line with his back to the ball. Stefan Kutschke ran in to score unchallenged as Flekken turned round too late. “I heard the goal jingle and thought we were leading 2-0,” Flekken told Sky TV. “Of course the lads love such moments. I’m going to have to take a lot of flak from my teammates over the next weeks. I’ll take the drinking bottle home and burn it somewhere in the garden.” In the end Flekken did have something to raise a glass to — Duisburg won 2-1 and rose to fourth in the second division.

Australian couple weds on California roller coaster
An Australian couple celebrated their love, as well as their favorite ride, by holding their wedding aboard a California roller coaster. logan Stojcevski, 32, and John Woods, 35, who first rode the Twisted Colossus roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia during a trip to the United States in 2015, were married Thursday morning just before one of the ride’s large drops.
“We wanted to do something different when we got married,” Woods told KTlA-TV. “So the best way to start married life is on a roller coaster.” Stojcevski said the wedding will be yet another treasured memory at the park. “I’ve been a massive coaster fan all my life. Six Flags Magic Mountain is my favorite place in the world, so what a better place to get married, and on our favorite ride, Twisted Colossus,” Stojcevski said. The wedding was captured by a news helicopter camera and broadcast live. “We found the best way to get married and make live TV news in los Angeles,” Woods wrote in a Facebook post.

‘Cardinal’s tweet was for sister’
A New Jersey archbishop raised a few eyebrows when he tweeted “Nighty-night, baby. I love you,” but his spokesman says it was an errant message intended for his sister. Cardinal Joseph Tobin’s spokesman says the leader of the Newark Roman Catholic archdiocese later deleted Wednesday’s tweet because it was being misinterpreted.
Spokesman Jim Goodness says Tobin has eight younger sisters and “they’re all his baby sisters.” Goodness said he doesn’t know how the siblings were communicating before the message was tweeted out. Tobin’s Twitter account shows he tweets infrequently. The full tweet read: “Supposed to be airborne in 10 minutes. Nighty-night, baby. I love you.” The 65-year-old Tobin was installed as Newark’s archbishop in January 2017.
