CJI wants vibrant subordinate judiciary
Cuttack: Inaugurating a newly-constructed building of the Odisha Judicial Academy along with Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik here on Saturday, Chief Justice of India P Sathasivam called upon the judicial officers not just to uphold the rule of law but also to ensure that justice is delivered in time so that the people do not lose faith in the judiciary. Underlining his commitment for enhancing judicial productivity, the CJI called for creating a vibrant subordinate judiciary in the country so as to win the trust and confidence of the people.

Chandigarh: Haryana Congress suffered a big jolt on Saturday as senior Congress leader and former State Minister of Cooperation Kl Sharma submitted his resignation and announced his inclusion in the Indian National lok Dal along with thousands of his supporters.
INlD president Ashok Arora along with Chaudhury Abhay Singh Chautala, MlA from Ellanabad welcomed him with open arms in their party. Kl Sharma has been elected
twice as a MlA from Shahbaad and he was chairman of Haryana Gau Sewa ommission. He had resigned from the chairmanship of the Commission on Thursday and joined the INlD on Saturday in wake of infighting continuing within Haryana Congress.
