She was always there for us

My mother Mala, was very young when she got married, she used to model for few fashion labels in the UK. When she became pregnant with me, she gave up her dreams to be with me full-time. later on, she opened a boutique in london and started her own clothing brand which became very popular. Her brand was covered in most fashion magazines there. But due to her frequent trips to the UK left my sister and me on our own and we didn’t do too will in our exams. She was worried that we might not score well in our Boards so she shut down everything and gave all her time to us.

My mom, the prankster

My mother, Pooja Raisinghani is always game for adventure, fun and even pranks. She enjoys bullying people the most. She is a mother in mad times and a buddy in bad times and never says no to our demands. So, it’s always fun to make plan as she willingly jumps in. She gave up on her successful career to give all her love and attention to my sister and me which we can never pay back even if we wish to. On this special day, I’ll be taking her to Pune where all her siblings have gathered. That's where her surprise await her.

A very hands-on mom

My mom Indira Chopra gave my sister and me the most creative upbringing. From the way we were made to eat, do homework to our extra curricular activities, everything was taken care of by her. The best times were the most ordinary moments which my mother made so special for me. She was a working full-time but for the first ten years of my life she gave up everything to ensure that I was given a solid foundation. Even now, I can never thank her enough for all the attention and love she has showered on me. This Mothers’ Day, I will take her out for a treat and some shopping to spoil her and pamper her. She’ll be spending the day with my six-month-old son who is her favourite person.

Always be there for her

When I look back at the moments when I was about to falter, my mother, Sunita Bhatt was always there for me. My mother has been there for me and my sister all our lives. Her upbringing has made me the person I’m. For her, doing even a small thing like been there for her whenever she needs me, is what she loves the most and makes her feel special. Mothers don't ask for support but as children we should be there for them.
