Twenty six-year-old Jyoti hung herself from a ceiling fan after a run-in with husband Yogesh in Rahul Vihar’s Phase III. Yogesh made frantic efforts to resuscitate his wife. Her body has been for autopsy.
In a fit of rage, 27-year-old Rinki from Rajdhani Enclave in loni emptied a jerrican of petrol on herself and her one-year-old son seated in her lap, and struck a match. She and her husband Mahavir did not see eye to eye on a lot of issues. Hearing screams, the neighbours tried rescuing the two but it was too little too late. Their bodies have been sent for autopsy.
