In separate incidents, two minors including a 4-year-old girl were allegedly raped in the Capital. The first incident was reported from West Delhi's Paschim Vihar area. On Friday night, a four-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour when she was alone at home.
Her father was away at work and her mother, who works as a domestic help, was out. The accused forcefully took the girl to his house, raped her and fled. When the victim's mother returned home, she narrated the incident to her and identified the accused as the neighbour.
The girl was rushed to a nearby hospital and medical examination confirmed rape. She was shifted to the ICU at Sanjay Gandhi Hospital. According to the police, her condition is stable.
The accused has been identified as Hiralal (19). He was later arrested by the police. Hiralal works as a labourer. A case of rape was registered against him.
In another incident, an unidentified person raped a 12-year-old girl after abducting her from her house in North-East Delhi's Sonia Vihar area on Friday evening. The incident took place when the girl was alone at home with her younger brother.
An unknown person entered the house and forcefully took the girl to a nearby field and raped her. On returning home, the girl's father made a PCR call. The girl was searched for everywhere.
later, the girl returned home and narrated the incident. The girl was rushed to Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital where her medical examination confirmed rape. A case was registered and police are looking for the culprit.
