One person was killed, while 13 others were injured – four of whom seriously – when a private bus carrying a marriage party hit a road divider and overturned at Powai in north-east Mumbai on Saturday afternoon.
The bus was heading from Malad in north Mumbai to Mumbra in neighbouring Thane district, when it hit the median of a road and turned turtle at around 1.45 pm. There were 40 passengers on board the bus at the time of mishap, which took place near Powai lake.
