India discard Yuvraj Singh will play for Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) in the Emirates Twenty20 tournament in Dubai on March 20. The Indian batsman has been named as the final member of the squad for the annual competition which this year also features lancashire, Yorkshire and Sussex. lancashire will take on Yorkshire in the first semi-final and MCC play Sussex in the afternoon, before the final takes place in the evening.
Yuvraj will join Alastair Cook, Michael Carberry and Nick Compton in the MCC squad. The Emirates T20 tournament precedes the Champion County match between MCC and Yorkshire. This annual fixture is a day-night match played with a pink ball under the MCC Spirit of Cricket banner, and acts as a curtain-raiser for the new English county season.
