Heavy rains hit the areas in and around the Chinnaswamy stadium and delayed Saturday’s match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings here on Saturday. Downpour started at around 6.30 pm.
The met department had predicted precipitation towards evening. Bangalore will have to beat Chennai to brighten up their chance of making the play-offs. If they lose this match, Sunrisers Hyderabad will automatically qualify for the play-offs.
