Anaturopathy centre is set to be started in Noida to help the needy and retired players in a bid to help them stay connected with the field.
Wrestler Sangram Singh on Tuesday said he faced a lot of difficulties on his way to achieving his task. So he hopes this centre ensures that aspiring sportspersons do not need to go through the same difficulties and have everything in place for their development.
In collaboration with Sangram, Sunshine Group chairman Harendera Kumar Yadav will launch the centre in six months where the struggling sports persons will be given an opportunity to become coaches and thereby train young athletes to reach their goals.
As part of the programme, financial support was provided to Kamal Kumar, a former state-level boxer, who is now forced to be a garbage collector to aid his family.
The wrestler said he came to know about the struggling situation of the boxer through the media and decided to help him out. He hopes to have many more Kamals in their centre to help them stay connected with the field.
Sangram, who won the 2015 Commonwealth Heavyweight Championships in South Africa, is hopeful that his vision will go into every small town where he wishes to provide motivation, health support and fitness training to aspiring youths.
Thereby he is confident that this initiative will help the nation in the future with many medals.
