Wrestler Narsingh Yadav will get to know his fate on Olympic participation on Wednesday when the 26-year-old will be present for the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) disciplinary hearing. It is learnt that the hearing will take place at 2 pm IST here on Wednesday.
The Uttar Pradesh wrestler failed a random dope test conducted on him on July 5 at the SAI centre at Sonepat recently. Subsequently, he also failed the B sample test.
Yadav tested positive for a banned substance, reportedly methandienone — an anabolic steroid. He appeared in front of the NADA disciplinary panel hearing last Saturday and will be present here on Wednesday for the final hearing.
During the last hearing he alleged that someone has sabotaged his food supplements. In his written complaint, he has also mentioned a SAI official's involvement in the scandal.
