Kolkata cricketer's condition stable

The condition of cricketer Rahul Ghosh, who was hospitalised after sustaining a head injury during a local league match, is stable and he seems to be recovering well, but the doctors at a city hospital today said they would still keep him under observation in ICU. “His pulse rate, blood pressure is normal. He’s talking, feeling hungry and there’s no dizziness or feeling of nausea,” medical director of Nightingale Hospital Dr Sabyasachi Sen said. The Police cricketer, who was hit on the head in their CAB Second Division match against Vijay SC, however, will be kept under observation and the doctors have ruled out any immediate discharge from the hospital. “There will be a repeat of CT Scan and MRI today to doubly check that there’s no clot. We don’t want to take any risk.”
