After a terrific performance in their opener against Sri lanka, high on confidence New Zealand eves will take on Ireland at PCA stadium here on Friday.
All-round Kiwis: The team showed how dangerous it can be with its convincing win over the island nation. If the bowling was an all-round show, then their batting was a level above with skipper Suzie Bates leading from the front.
In today's match the Kiwis are likely to go for five spinners.
SuzieSpeak: We started off well, but nothing can be taken for granted. We are inspired and motivated by the performance of Men's team and it feels great to play here where cricket is like a religion and people watch with so much passion.
Underdogs Ireland: Ireland has been given the tag of underdogs coming into this tournament.
Despite the tag placed over their head, the Irish team, led by Isobel Joyce, will be looking for an optimistic start against the more established opponents.
