Chennai Super Kings' Suresh Raina on Wednesday revealed that the thought of his inclusion in the Indian team for the ICC World Cup next year was presently not in his line of thought.

On a visit here for Chennai's Indian Premier league encounter with Delhi Daredevils, Raina discussed his training routine and fitness among other subjects.

"I see myself in play-off right now," the 31-year-old middle-order batsman pointed out when asked if he sees himself in the Indian team for next year's World Cup. He referred to his IPl side's run in the ongoing season of the tournament, where they currently are the second team to have qualified for the play-offs behind Sunrisers Hyderbad.

"I am not thinking about next year right now," he continued. "I want to spend time with my family after IPl. I will finish my fitness test and then have a wonderful time with my mom, dad, wife and kid. Then, we will see what has to be done for the next year."

When asked about how he feels about his position as a balance-provider in India's middle order and if he can continue to fill the squad's gap in that area, the CSK player seemed confident of his capability as he replied, "Yes, of course! I did well in South Africa, and now I feel I have done well in the IPl too. There are a lot of other matches to come. The Ireland-England series is coming up, and it is important to know and understand what the team and the coach will be expecting from me. So, one will have to assess that and plan how to play under any given situation."
