Haryana Lions winning the inaugural Salute Tiranga Cricket League (STCL), defeating UP Dhurandhar in the final. The Lions completed an unbeaten campaign with five consecutive wins. They won all three group-stage matches via successful chases, before beating Delhi Leaders in the semi-final and UP Dhurandhar in the final.
The team celebrated the triumph at Le Méridien, New Delhi, in presence of owner Naveen Jha, Head Coach Indranil Basu and Captain Yug Gupta. Jha said, "Our vision is to take grassroots talent to higher levels. We will soon launch the Haryana Lions Cricket Academy." He also announced a trophy tour across Delhi, Chandigarh and Haryana. The tournament saw over 15,000 registrations from 10 states, with 128 players selected for eight teams.
