Going to be hard to break India: Orlando

Colombian under-17 team’s manager Orlando Restrepo feels that India is an organised side at the back and that makes it harder to find a gap in their defence. He ascertained that things will be difficult if they don't score early in their second group match against the host nation’s side here on Monday.

"India were very organised at the back against the USA, they conceded an unfortunate penalty otherwise they would have made things more difficult for the USA," said Restrepo before Colombia's practice session on Friday. "So we are expecting the similar organised defensive line against them and it's not going to be easy to break that defence.”

When asked about how he is planning on finding the leak in the two-line defensive wall in luis Norton de Matos-led side, the Colombian coach said he will go in with the same philosophy of keeping the possession and look to attack from wings on Monday.

"It's going to be a new game on Monday, both teams will start from zero and look for their first points. We will stick to our style and look to build from the back by keeping possession and attack using the width of the flanks," said Restrepo.

Despite Ghana finding loopholes in their system through rigorous high pressing and catching them off guard on the counter, the 60-year-old coach with 25-years of team managing experience under his belt refused to abandon their football philosophy after just one failure.

"Ghana adapted to our game well and they took their chances. But we believe in our football philosophy and will continue to play the same way.  For me the difference against Ghana was us missing our chances and them utilising theirs," said  Restrepo.

The Colombia coach is still not ready to give up on his team’s ambition to win the competition and has vowed to fight till the end.

“We are not going to give up yet, we have a good sqaud and we will keep fighting to go all the way in the World Cup," concluded Restrepo.
