Delhi's pace spearhead Ishant Sharma helped his team to a big win by taking total of 9 wickets in the match for just 47 runs against Vidarbha in Ranji Trophy group A match at the Feroz Shah Kotla ground on Sunday.
On a bright morning, Vidarbha continued their innings from an overnight score of 47/4 and fell like nine pins for a mere 98 runs with Pradeep Sangwan and Manan Sharma picking three wickets apiece, giving hosts just 96 runs to win on the fourth and final day of the match.
The hosts chased down 96 runs in under 15 overs with Unmukt Chand and Gautam Gambhir scoring 51 and 45 runs respectively.
Manan Sharma was adjudged as Player of the match for his all round show of 53 runs and 3 wickets.
