Deflategate rocks NFl

Deflategate came to be the biggest non-story to hit America’s biggest sport and yet cause massive amount of furore. In the case, New England Patriots were accused of using underinflated footballs in their AFC Championship Final game against the Indianapolis Colts and the early decision saw star quarterback Tom Brady get suspended for four games for the upcoming season, the team docked $1 million and their first round pick in the draft to be taken away. However, post the appeal, these sanctions were rescinded after lengthy court battles and negotiations. The court eventually ruled that the quarterback was not guilty because of lack of proper and clear evidence to suggest he had knowledge of underinflated balls and that he had aided Patriot employees in keeping the idea under the wraps.
