Royal Challengers
Prediction: Play-offs
Royal Challengers Bangalore will be eagerly looking to break the IPl Final jinx this time around after losing in the Final three times till now.
Regarded as the heavyweights of the tournament, RCB will head in to the 10th edition of the IPl with full confidence to win its maiden IPl crown. Having perhaps the most explosive top-4 players in Chris Gayle, Shane Watson, AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli, the team's main strength undoubtedly relies on batting. However, the biggest weakness of RCB has always been in the bowling department. To make up for it they bought England's bowling sensation Tymal Mills for Rs12 crore. Billy Stanlake, another new recruit from Australia, could be a handy option along with Adam Milne. Among the Indian bowlers, much will be expected of Iqbal Abdullah, Srinath Arvind, Stuart Binny and Pawan Negi.
