Calls for line review technology

With Saina Nehwal apparently lost a whole match due to one bad line call, the support for the line review technology seemed to be growing among the players.
Though HS Prannoy had already given thumbs up to the inclusion of technology in the near future, world No 1 lee Chong Wei added to the support by saying that he was looking forward to the change.
"Yes, sure it will help the players," Wei said without losing a second. "Yesterday Saina lost the last point at 20-17, I saw that. I got an update from BWF that it will be there at the Sudirman Cup. Hope it does well as it did it tennis."
Saina was serving for the match in her second round match against Yui Hashimoto on Thursday when the Japanese shot, clearly out, was adjudged right, making Saina lose her "rhythm" and hence the match.
"Many a time even one call can change the whole match for a player, so the review technology would be a blessing," Prannoy had said.
Thuogh Sindhu "could not see Saina's match" and hence the bad call, she was also quick enough to welcome the line review technology into the game. "That would definitely be good," she said after her quarterfinal win.
Now, let's hope the technology plays its part well.
