The Bar Council of Odisha has now thrown its weight behind the fortnight-long agitation of the SAT bar associations. Endorsing a resolution of the associations, the council on Saturday requested all lawyers in the State to boycott their courts, including the High Court, on Monday.

The SAT was established in July 1986 and functioning from four places, including its principal bench from Bhubaneswar.
Bar Council chairman Manas Mohapatra informed that the council has decided to submit a memorandum to the Chief Minister on Monday.
