Aus face Eng in summit clash

In the final of Women's World T20 on Sunday early morning (IST), three times champion Southern Stars (Australian Eves) will face inaugural edition winners England at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound, Antigua.

Both the sides finished second in their group but a strong all-round show in the semifinal against India (by Eng) and West Indies (by Aus) helped them reach the summit clash.

And now the old foes will battle for one another time to take cup home.

While England is the defending limited over's world champion, Australia have an edge over their English opponents in the shortest format. They have beaten them twice before in the final and will surely be aiming to make it three.

For England, Amy Ellen Jones (103) leads the batting chart; Australia's Alyssa Healy (203) is the tournament leading run scorer.
