Arjun Atwal shot a final round of 1-under 69 to finish tied-24th at the ISPS HANDA Senior Open at Sunningdale, making him the top Indian finisher. Jeev Milkha Singh and Jyoti Randhawa placed T-56 and T-61 respectively. This marks the first time three Indian golfers have made the cut at a Major—across men's, women's, or senior categories.
Ireland’s Pádraig Harrington made history by becoming only the fifth golfer to win both The Open and the Senior Open, finishing three shots ahead of Thomas Bjørn and Justin Leonard. Harrington closed with a 67 to reach 16-under for the tournament, securing his third Senior Major title.
