Asif robbed at gun point in lahore

Karachi: Disgraced Pakistan pacer Mohammad Asif was on Wednesday robbed of his belongings at gunpoint in his hometown lahore. Asif, who was found guilty of spot-fixing in England, was robbed by four armed men near the lahore airport as he returned early morning after dropping a friend. “They took away around 92,000 rupees in cash, my wallet which had bank cards, my passport and expensive watch,” Asif told reporters. “It was a scary incident for me although I have been through a lot in the last two years and even spent some time in jail,” Asif said. The pacer, who is serving a five year ban for spot-fixing, said he was in his car when four men on motorcycles forced him to stop and pointed guns at his face. “I had no option but to quietly give what they wanted. The incident unnerved me but later I reported the matter to the police.”
