‘A SMALL PART OF MY DREAM CAME TRUE’
After several extremely successful collaborations such as Hum Paanch, Pavitra Rishta, Jodha Akbar, Kumkum Bhagya, Kundali Bhagya, Zee TV and Balaji Telefilms recently presented viewers with an exciting story about life, love, karma and destiny. Set against the backdrop of Mumbai, Bhagya Lakshmi follows the journey of Lakshmi, a selfless girl of limited means, who despite her humble background and the curveballs life has thrown at her always puts others' needs before hers. The show recently took off on a rather a successful note and is now set to provide viewers with its first-ever happy moment which is none other than Rohit and Aishwarya's wedding. The duo has already begun receiving mass appreciation from the viewers for their stunning chemistry and their wedding is set to be the biggest highlight to come in the show.
Setting some bridal goals for all her fans, the beautiful Aishwarya Khare will be seen donning a bright pink and orange elaborate lehenga, along with an elegantly designed jewellery set that will make the actress look nothing less than a royal bride. In fact, Aishwarya Khare also felt like a bride herself and had a rather surreal experience shooting for her bridal sequence in this show.
Sharing her experience, Aishwarya mentioned, “I was extremely happy seeing my look, so much so that I almost got emotional after getting dressed. I felt like a royal bride onset and was really thrilled by the efforts put in by the entire team to make me look so pretty. Right from the lehenga colour to its design and the extravagant jewellery, it all made my appearance so perfect that I just couldn't get my eyes off myself. It's every girl's dream to be dressed as a beautiful bride and I think a small part of my dream did come true after seeing myself in such a royal avatar. Also, this lehenga was not a usual one like a red or a maroon colour but we went for a orange and pink lehenga and I never thought this combination would look so good.”
Shades of grey
Ever since its premiere, Zee TV’s Apna Time Bhi Aayega has been inspiring its audience with its thought-provoking tale and entertaining them with consistent twists and turns on the show. In fact, the recent conflicts between Rani (Megha Ray) and Ranvijay (Imran Khan) has kept viewers at the edge of their seats to see who will finally win this battle. While the mind games continue to entertain the viewers, a new twist in the form of Vijaya Shaktawat has recently entered the Rajawat household with a master plan to capture the entire property and declare herself as the new Rani Sa. Essaying this role is popular television actress Sangeeta Kapure who returns to playing a negative character after nearly four years.
Vijaya is Rani Sa’s cousin, who is poles apart from Rajeshwari, and has been brought up in a very different way than her. She was always jealous of Rajeshwari and even though she got married in a rich household, her crass nature remained intact. Her chance to seek revenge and destroy Rani Sa’s life seems to be coming true with Ranvijay joining forces with her to make her plan a success. While Vijaya is determined to bring destruction in Rajeshwari’s life, Sangeeta is excited and eager to play this evil character.
Talking about her return to playing a negative character with Apna Time Bhi Aayega, Sangeeta mentioned, “Vijaya’s character was a sealed deal for me from the moment I learned about the character. At that time, I could almost visualise myself in her shoes. Although I have essayed royal as well as negative characters in the past, this is the first role where I am essaying both the elements together which makes the entire process even more exciting and challenging for me. I must add that most of my characters prior to this have been a little playful and chirpy. But after a long time, I am returning to a grey role and I am enjoying portraying the strong body language that comes with such a character. I have had a wonderful start with the show.”
New challenge for kaveri priyam

Kaveri Priyam, talking about her character in depth, said, “My character, Dr Monami, is soft-hearted, keeps everyone happy and is always on her toes to solve problems of people and help them walk out of any sorrow or trouble that comes their way. For Dr Monami, emotional quotient is a step ahead than discipline. I am enjoying portraying the character because I love her emotional connect with everyone in the academy, and this character is helping me excel at delivering various emotions on-screen.”
Talking about preparations she did for her role, Kaveri added, “On the very first day of shoot, I was placed right in front of a trained boxer. It was a whole new experience for me which taught me how strong I have to be to play Monami. My very first day was a day full of realisations and I made up my mind to conquer every challenge that I have to, so I can ace this role. Earlier, it was challenging as well as exhausting for me to do these preparations and trainings by waking up at 5 in the morning but now, every day on the set pumps me with a new level of energy and enthusiasm.”
