Ramji in turmoil
In &TV’s Ek Mahanayak Dr B.R. Ambedkar, viewers have witnessed how Ramji Sakpal (Jagganath Nivangune) has played a prominent role in shaping Babasaheb’s life. Ramji was the perfect example of a philosopher, guide, and great mentor to all his children. He was instrumental in inculcating the importance of education as a means to change one’s circumstances to young Bhimrao (Aayudh Bhanushali). Ramji strongly believed one must stand up for what is right even in the most challenging situation. Now, Ramji is put through a compelling circumstance, facing a dilemma and an emotional turmoil, to make a tough choice between standing and supporting his son, Bala or doing what is right, even if it means going against his son. Bala’s (Saud Mansuri) decision to elope with Rani to save her from the abusive marriage puts Ramji and his family in a disputed situation, with Maharaj and his followers pointing fingers at them. What decision will Ramji take, and how will it impact his relationship with Bala? How will a father explain right and wrong to his son?
Elaborating further on the track, Jagannath Nivangune, aka Ramji Sakpal, says: “Ramji loves all his children equally and always instilled the right teachings to them. Bhimrao is a strong-willed young boy who believes in standing by what is right. On the other hand, Bala has good intentions, but his route and actions are not always right. It leads to a constant furore between him and Ramji, making Bala believe that Ramji is not supportive of him and always sides with Bhimrao. Bala’s running away with Rani puts Ramji into a tough spot, leading him to take a stand in support of Bhimrao, resulting in alienating him further from Bala. Kaise karegein, Ramji is chunati ka saamna? How will he be able to bring Bala back on track?”
Neha Marda’s second home
Zee TV's Kyun Rishton Mein Katti Batti has been entertaining its audience through its interesting storyline revolving around the innocent world of two adorable kids (Rishi and Roli) who have teamed up to rekindle the love between their parents and complete their ‘happy family’. Together, they have vowed to be the glue, that will fill the cracks that have developed between their parents, Shubra (Neha Marda) and Kuldeep (Siddhaanth Vir Surryavanshi). While Neha Marda has been on her toes, working diligently as Shubra to keep the audience entertained, her schedule is such that she had to turn her car into her second home.
Neha Marda has been travelling for her shoot on a daily basis, and her regular companion is her swanky new car. Speaking highly of the recent gift she got from her mother-in-law, the actress shares how indifferent she was about cars initially. But thanks to her husband, her fondness for learning about cars has increased over time.
As Neha Marda reveals: “I was never into cars, but thanks to my husband, now I know all about the recent models and their launches. He is a car-addict, and he makes sure to check out all the latest models, and staying with him has actually turned me into one as well. Not many people know, but before I got married, I use to drive a Corolla. But my mother-in-law gifted me this beautiful BMW 3-series car, which is very precious to me now. In fact, my shoot schedule is such that these days I spend more time in my car than my house. It is a funny scene, but when you’re working round the clock, it is necessary to have your car with you along with all the necessary stuff that one needs to carry.”
Neha further added: “Whenever I’m travelling for my shoot, there are certain things which I absolutely carry. The cargo compartment of my car always has three luggage bags along with 13 pairs of shoes and several outfit choices, just in case I have to attend an award function, or an event post my work. Also, there are some very basic things that people might find weird, but I love to carry my cushions, ear pods, and my perfume. Lately I’ve realised that I’m just living my days in my car, and at times that makes me wonder how strange yet funny that is.”
Double trouble
Sony SAB's Jijaji Chhat Parr Koii Hai has captured the imagination of the fans and managed to entertain audiences with its well-crafted storyline. Not only have the never-ending hilarious banters between Jaldirams and Jindals intrigued viewers, but the show has been keeping them hooked with its spooky elements giving a much-needed comic relief. Out of the show’s cast, the audience is admiring Hiba Nawab as Connaught Place (CP), showering her with massive appreciations and support.
In a candid conversation, Hiba Nawab spilled beans about her double role and claimed how her performance have bettered with Jijaji Chhat Parr Koii Hai.
Talking about her double role, she said: “I feel this is a fantastic opportunity to explore and push my boundaries and expand my horizon as an artist. My characters are entirely different from each other, and I feel blessed to be a part of the show, which enables me to showcase my talent and perform diverse shades every single day. It is helping me to improve my skills as it is very challenging for me, and I love doing exciting things as an actor.”
Hiba Nawab talking about the technique said: “For CP, I do method acting and my technique remains simple, that is to keep myself in her place and react as I will do. But for the mystery girl, Chandra Prabha, I listen to my makers, directors, and creative team to improve my expressions and make my acting believable.”
Sharing her experience on how she balances the differences, she said, “There are some points which I keep in mind to create a balance between the characters- the first one being two different looks, which is really important and impactful since the styling for both the girls are different. Secondly, their way of reacting must be different from each other. While Chandra Prabha keeps talking in typical Hindi shayaris, CP is today’s Delhi girl, who uses slangs in her vocabulary and is a fashionista. I act differently for both the characters and keep myself balanced to ensure the differences are visible.”
