Sixteen times no!

Who is the target audience for this movie directed by Raj PurohitIJ Is it for the parents of 16-year-olds or the 16-year-olds themselvesIJ If it is for the parents, one doubts that this is how they should deal with their teenaged children. And it is definitely not for those who are 16. One doesn’t want them to take pointers from the film.

However, to say that there is nothing worth in the movie will not be entirely correct. Even though the issue dealt with in the film is relevant in today’s society, it is the way it has been put across where the problem arises. The seriousness of the situation looses its essence.

In that sense, there is not much substance in Sixteen and one can well avoid it.
