Saat Uchakkey
Cast: Manoj Bajpayee, Anupam Kher, Kay Kay Menon, Annu Kapoor, Vijay Raaz, Aditi Sharma
Rated: 4/10
One would have thought that a movie starring Manoj Bajpayee, KK Menon, Anupam Kher and Annu Kapoor would be a project that would be a treat to watch. Unfortunately, not only does the film have a poor story, director Sanjeev Sharma has ensured that for the actors — it is a waste of effort and for the audience — it is waste to time.
Add to it the profanities, that too in Hindi, that are a part of every sentence and you have a film that not only tires your eyes but also the ears. If the Censor Board had to cut every abuse, one would end up with nothing. So why did the producers and the directors think that the audience would like to see such a film boggles the mindIJ Why would the actors say yes to the film is even more bewildering. But then the entertainment industry is unpredictable. Despite this, some credit should be given to KK Menon and Manoj Bajpayee who do manage to save the film somewhat.
Avoid this one unless you are the kind who would like the see this bylanes of Old Delhi and hear some choicest of gaalis.
