This one is from PZNZ Media — Preity Zinta’s production house. The movie which had been on hold for want of distributors (tussle was over money) found one in PVR Cinemas and the movie that was supposed to release on September 21, 2012 finally saw the daylight on May 24, 2013. Considering that this her a debut venture, the effort is not bad. It is definitely not brilliant — the story has been told many times over. Despite this, it is a sweet a love story. Boy meets girl, boy falls in love but the girl has some daddy issues and walks away only to realise that she loves him.
However, Zinta and director Prem Raj could have done away with the emotional drama that appears at regular intervals. The minute the movie reaches a high, it brings one down with a dosage of drama. One wished that Zinta could have maintained the high note on which the film begins.
Zinta, who is seen on the screen after a long time (she was in Heroes in 2008) still manages to endear herself with her dimples and twinkling eyes. On the whole, the movie is entertaining if one manages to get past Zinta’s pout!
