Time and again, it has been said that Bollywood doesn’t have the wherewithal to make animation. And yet, you have people who continue to churn them out with no improvement in the quality of production. It is bad enough to sit through a movie that has such poor animation, it is an absolute torture to sit through one which has nothing of substance to add to the story of lord Ram that has been told numerous times.
One wonders what was going on the minds of the makers when they chose this story to tell once again with such disastrous results. If they were trying to tell the story from Ravan’s perspective, there should have been more of him rather than the buffoning antics of his raksh sena including the one where Mandodari is muttering to herself that Ravan and yet again left his wet towel lying around. Funny and yet it fails to leave any impact as the film progresses.
