The animations here will take your heart. Period!! They are not the usual Disney kind of rounded and polished line drawings. They are edgy, pretty geometrical and wantonly different but come to you with impeccable motion choreography that keeps you on the seat and attentive through the film.
Count Dracula is lonely and is looking for a dare after his wife passes away but he has to keep all this from his daughter because he is a family man too.
That is the premise of this cute and extremely engaging monster film which goes for a cruise to the lost city of Atlantis with almost all the monsters you can fathom aboard.
The colour, the humour, the family values are all there and the film also gets you to laugh out loud many a time. Count Dracula is just too cute to be ignored and that may have been the reason why his main enemy is someone he hankers for with moony eyes and droopy eyes.
The story may be a tad slow but the drawings are so captivating that even if you no animation buff you will not mind the proceedings that unfold before tour with all the jazz, bigness and night- time ocean life.
